Green Week | The Factories of Sustainability

The first three days of Green Week – Tuesday, March 25 to Thursday, March 27, 2025 – will be devoted to the now traditional tour of “Sustainability Factories.“: participating companies will open the doors of their facilities to visitors. The companies involved will be able to organize guided tours, workshops, seminars o talks that will feature secondary school students, doctoral students and researchers from the country’s top universities, as well as professionals and experts.

Opportunities for green companies

Companies that operate with sustainability in mind and for at least 3 years have been committed to achieving green goals by developing or adapting processes, services and products, generating sustainable, relevant and measurable changes in the society and market in which they operate, will be able to be featured in the Green Week and the Festival of the Green Economy by becoming “Sustainability Factories“. Green Week will not only be for companies an extraordinary showcase of the green paths they have taken – including by opening their doors to the public – but also an opportunity to:

• Meet young people who are highly interested in job opportunities in this type of company
• learn about and explore issues in thematic panels with specialists from different fields
• Relate and have a discussion on best practices with entrepreneurs and business managers
• Develop relationships with operators and journalists and enhance their products and services

Minimum requirements

Companies interested in becoming Sustainability Factory Will need to:

• Have already been on a sustainability, social responsibility or circular economy path for at least 3 years
• Give their willingness to actively participate in the planned activities

Apply to become a Sustainability Factory

To participate in Green Week in the “Sustainability Factories” section, you are asked to fill out a short application form.

The questionnaire, by LEOALES SRL SB, will help us assess the company’s actual commitment to a path of sustainability. While it is desirable for the company to answer all the questions, particularly for SMEs, it is not strictly essential that they answer all the questions, and if they do, the scientific direction of the Festival will interface with the company to gain a deeper understanding of the initiatives put in place by individual companies.

After filling out the form, the company will be analyzed and deepened by the Evaluation Committee of Green Week 2025. Participating companies will benefit from:

• Assistance in establishing the program of activities
• publication of a company fact sheet on this site
• Regional and national press office activities
• Social media: dissemination of posts and tweets dedicated to the company
• Possible participation in a thematic panel within the Parma Green Economy Festival
• Mention of the company as a “Sustainability Factory” on Corriere della Sera advertising page

The cost of participation as a sustainability factory under the terms previously mentioned is €5,000 (excluding VAT). With the fee of 7,000 € (excluding VAT) there is additionally the participation of a leading exponent in one of the conferences of the thematic sections of the Parma Festival of Green Economy, the focus of which will be agreed upon between the parties.
